When my older son was diagnosed with a reading disability, I began researching remediation programs, looking for one that would make significant improvements in his reading, spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. Conversations with educational therapists from Los Angeles to Boston eventually led me to discover PACE, a cognitive skills enhancement program which effectively increases a student's basic ability to learn. The combination of PACE and Master the Code (the reading and spelling program designed to build upon PACE) is exactly what I had been searching for, with the added assurance of PACE's seventeen years of proven success!

I was determined to find a way to help my son, so I decided to become a PACE provider myself because the program was not available here. At once, I immersed myself in reading the books recommended by Dr. Ken Gibson, the founder of PACE, to gain an understanding of some of the educational research that his programs are based on. I traveled to Colorado for professional instruction and earned my PACE and Master the Code Trainer Certification.

Knowing that a trainer's skills improve with practice, I immediately began PACE training with my mother and my younger son after returning home. I wanted my older son to receive the very best help available, and chose to first work with two others while fine-tuning my skills. This experience, as well as long distance communication with Brett Gibson at the corporate office, provided me with the foundation I needed to begin the cognitive training with my older son. When I began his PACE™ training, my level of confidence as a trainer was much higher than I had expected it to be in the amount of time that I had worked with the program. I attribute this to Dr. Ken Gibson, along with the team of doctors and educators who assisted him in developing PACE's unique set of procedures that can easily be utilized by qualified individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds. I am grateful for discovering this program, which has made a tremendous impact on my son's life, and has removed all fears my husband and I had about his future. I am pleased that I can now make PACE and Master the Code available to your family as well!
